Racing Experience

2009 - Firestone Indy Lights Series - Overall Champion
In a dominating performance, Hildebrand scored four wins, six poles, 11 top fives and 12 top ten finishes decisively taking the series title for AFS/Andretti Green Racing finishing the season just shy of 100 points clear of of the field having clinched the title at the penultimate round. During the year, Hildebrand also tested Andretti Green's Indycar Series machine on both the Sebring short course and Kansas Speedway showing both speed and comfort upon both occasions.

2009 - A1GP World Cup of Motorsports - Debut Race
Hildebrand filled in for Marco Andretti as the driver for A1 Team USA for the final round of the championship in Brands Hatch, England. Hildebrand was impressively quick all weekend, qualifying and finishing fourth while also leading several laps in the Sprint race, then pacing eventual championship winner Adam Carroll after a first corner accident in the Feature.

2008 - Firestone Indy Lights Series - Fifth Overall
After planning a second year in Atlantics, Hildebrand changed gears due to the merger of open wheel racing in America and joined RLR Anderson Racing, winning at Kansas in just his second oval race. He was in the running for the Championship until the last race of the year, scoring eight top fives and 12 top 10 finishes, finishing fifth overall in the final standings.

2007 - Atlantic Championship - Seventh Overall
Racing as the only driver for Newman Wachs Racing, Hildebrand was the top placed U.S. rookie and second placed U.S. driver in one of the series' most competitive fields ever. He had a rollercoaster year, with good speed but inconsistent results due to a variety of things, with his best finish of second coming at the ultra high speed Clevelend airport circuit, He scored seven top 10 and two top five finishes.

2006 - Cooper Tires Formula Ford 2000 Championship - Overall Champion
In a breakout year, Hildebrand won a record-setting 12 of 14 races, also setting records for most cosecutive victories in a season at seven, most laps lead in a season and most poles in a season on his way to the championship. His domination of the series have him a number of opportunites moving forward.

2005 - Team USA Scholarship Program - Third Overall in Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Cup
In his first experience overseas, Hildebrand gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about racing, and showed quite well against greatly experienced drivers in the UK. Having never been to the tracks nor driven the cars, it was a great opportunity to broaden his horizons for the future. He finished third overall in the final standings.

2005 - Pacific F2000 Series: Zetec Formula Ford - Second Overall and Rookie of the Year
With two wins, nine podiums and 10 top fives in just 12 races, Hildebrand comleted his first year of professional racing exceeding expectations. Had it not been for a string of unfortunate events in the last weekend He very well could have been champion, but regardless he learned an incredible amount.

2005 - Cooper Tires Championship Series: Zetec FF2000
Hildebrand raced with this series on four occaisions in 2005, twice at Cleveland and twice at VIR, later racing full-time in 2006. At Cleveland he surprised many by finishing second and third, the top American both races. At VIR he was equally as quick, though contact with a lapped car in the first race ultimately put a damper on the weekend's results.

2004 - SCCA Formula Russell Championship Series - Overall Champion and Rookie of the Year
Hildebrand competed in the 19 race 2004 SCCA Formula Russell Championship Series, finishing the series with seven wins, 11 podiums, 13 top fives, and 15 top tens in my his first year racing cars.

2003 - Jim Russell Graduate Runoffs - Overall Winner
The Jim Russell Graduate Runoffs (GRO) was open to Jim Russell Racing School graduates who did not have significant auto racing experience. The competition included a number of nationally recognized karting stars, including Wes Boswell, Robbie Pecorari, and Cole Nelson. Hildebrand was one of 46 entered, and advanced through the competition to claim the overall first place, earning a free year of racing in the SCCA Formula Russell Championship Series for 2004 in the Russell Formula Mazda cars.

2003 - Jim Russell Championship Series - Jr 80 - 2nd place in Championship
In Hildebrand's first experience in a shifter kart, he won three of six races in the series, unfortunately suffering a brake failure in the final race, taking him out of championship contention.

2002 - Jim Russell Arrive and Drive Sprint Kart Series Champion
Hildebrand competed in this championship series as the only minor in the TaG 125 class. In his first race, he not only beat the other Russell competitors, but finished first overall in the combined race with the more experienced TaG 125 light class. He went on to win the championship with four wins out of six races.

Other items of interest
I recently graduated early from Redwood High School in Corte Madera, where I played varsity baseball and maintained over a 4.0 GPA, due to a challenging schedule including honors and AP classes. I am a member of the California Scholarship Federation and the Redwood High School Honor Society.
